However, a visit here comes with a couple caveats: It’s a bit quirky, it’s VERY informal, rustic and no frills. Food is all made to order so bring your patience and, to be honest, customer service is questionable.
That being said, if you want a chill breakfast spot and you have the time and patience for it add them to your dining list.
This is a blue collar breakfast spot where the menu is written on a white board and coffee is plentiful.
The Track Kitchen is located inside the historic Aiken Training Track, which has been in operation for over 75 years.
Don’t forget your wallet because this is a cash-only establishment.
Oh, did I mention they may or may not be open when you stop by. As a rule, the restaurant is only open during racing season, unless the staff wants a day off.
