The Hotel Indigo in Panama City is the city’s only waterfront flag hotel. Located on St. Andrews Bay the hotel is a blend of modern comfort and coastal charm.

Offering thoughtfully designed rooms, exceptional amenities, and delicious dining options, this hotel is the perfect place to stay during your Panama City getaway.

Upon entering the lobby, guests are greeted by a coastal-inspired ambiance that sets the tone for the entire stay. The cozy conversation areas in the lobby are one of my favorite features.

The hotel features a range of room types, each meticulously designed to provide comfort and style.

King and Queen Guest Rooms: Discover the coastal charm of our boutique hotel, where each room offers stunning views of St. Andrew Bay, locally inspired art, and luxurious furnishings. Experience pure comfort with premium bedding and high-end bath amenities. Enjoy the convenience of a mini-fridge and connect with free Wi-Fi. Some rooms even come with a balcony.

Bay View Corner Room: Same as above except this corner room has large windows along two walls and includes a balcony. THIS is the room to stay in and the price difference, which is minimal, is completely worth it. I loved waking each day to the sun streaming through the windows and closing out each evening from the balcony and watching the sun set.

Hotel Indigo goes beyond the ordinary, offering a range of amenities to enhance the guest experience. I didn’t have nearly enough time at the hotel to enjoy the amenities, but here is what they have.

Outdoor Pool

Relax at the outdoor heated pool overlooking St. Andrew Bay while enjoying drink and snack options from the Tarpon’s restaurant menu. There is also a nice sun deck if you prefer to simply lounge.

Fitness Center

24-hour fitness center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Peloton bike, weight machines and free weights, and more if you’re so inclined.

Guest Patio

Relax around the fire after a day of exploring. The guest patio and fire pits offer the perfect place to unwind with a drink, or chat with friends and family.

Pet-Friendly!!

Yay!! You can bring two pets, up to 40 lbs each, but there is a $75 nonrefundable fee. Of course, if it’s a service animal there is no fee. As always, pets much be on a leash while on property and please do not leave them unattended in your room.

Hotel Indigo in Panama City Dining Options

Enjoy all-day dining at Tarpons for Southern cuisine. They also have a full bar and hand-shaken cocktails. Dine indoors or on the outdoor covered veranda, both have great bay views.

Or, head up to Steam on 5, the rooftop bar and enjoy a snack and cocktail while still enjoying those stunning bay views.

Seriously, enjoying a cocktail while looking at the view is one of the best ways to relax and unwind. I wasn’t mad about it.
