Tired of eating chicken? Me too! We’ve been mixing it up over here with ground turkey recipe including this turkey meatloaf recipe. I also have an entire section dedicated to Weight Watchers Turkey Recipes.
Even if you don’t follow Weight Watchers these are all flavor-packed recipes that are easy to make and will be enjoyed by the entire family.
Turkey Meatloaf Side Dish Suggestions
Ground turkey is a healthy option to add to any menu plan. If you’re following Weight Watchers serve this with a generous helping of chive and garlic mashed cauliflower and oven-roasted veggies for a low point meal.
Steamed broccoli is also a great choice and one of my personal favorites. You can’t go wrong with oven-roasted broccoli either.
Otherwise, or if you have points to spare, potatoes are never a wrong choice when it comes to finding the perfect turkey meatloaf side dish. I suggested these cheesy smashed baked potatoes or these creamy mashed sweet potatoes.
If you need to play the points game a Turkey Meatloaf meal can easily come in under 10 points. Not too bad for a really hearty, comfort food style, dinner.
The ingredient list may look a bit long, but it’s mostly spices that are probably in the pantry.
Any of the spices can be omitted (paprika, thyme, cumin). I’ve left one or two out when we’ve run out of them and the meatloaf still tastes great.
Point Calculation Note: WW/Weight Watchers has changed their point program since I calculated this recipe according to the Freestyle Plan. You’ll need to adjust the points according to your particular plan.
