February is Heart Health awareness month. I know, I know, every month has “something” to celebrate or make you aware of and it can become a little annoying, but keeping your heart healthy is so important!
I want to be able to travel for years to come and that means I have to stay healthy. Keeping my heart healthy is probably the most important thing I can do. I may never run a marathon, but if I can hike my way for miles through gorgeous landscapes and explore cities by foot without wanting to collapse I’ll consider myself healthy. I want YOU to be healthy so you can go explore places I’ve shared and have your own adventures.
Admit it, you know keeping your heart healthy is important to your overall well-being, but its also important so that you can enjoy those things that make you happiest in life whether its travel, watching sports games, playing with your kids, or whatever lights your fire.

It is VERY important to keep that heart muscle strong and healthy!! I generally buy Quaker instant oatmeal in the individual packets since I live alone–but I seem to have run out–time to get some more!!
WE love Quaker Oats in our home, I make it for my kids by adding a bit of Agave Nector and fresh fruit to it, they do not like it plan.
I have never eaten an entire bowl of oatmeal…I almost made myself a bowl yesterday but couldn’t find the oatmeal packets. I will have to look again today because, after loosing both my grandfather to heart attacks, I want to keep my heart healthy.

I love to use their oats and make homemade granola!!! I am not a huge fan of plain oatmeal but there are many uses for oats.
