Peppa Pig Happy Mrs Chicken App

Peppa Pig is the UK’s popular pre school show that is being shared with children around the world through the new Happy Mrs Chicken app. This app engages young children in the wonderful world of Peppa Pig and friends.
There are a variety of games that are sure to entertain for more than the typical 5 minute attention span. Children can choose from six different activities including Happy Mrs Chicken, jumping in puddles, playing with a sticker book, solving a maze, putting together a puzzle and playing at a chicken coop.
The graphics provide bright colors and I found the accompanying sounds to each game to be fun and interactive. The graphics are consistently well developed throughout all the game choices. Each of the options are user friendly and allows kids to follow along and complete the tasks with limited parental help.Â
When you start a new game you see a blue screen with the game name while it loads. Use the yellow door at the bottom of the screen to go to the main page anytime you want to exit. The yellow door is there in all the games and instantly takes you back to the main page.
The chicken coop game has children place recently hatched chicks into the chicken coop. They need to work quickly though otherwise the chicks will walk away. Once they put a set number of chicks in the coop they receive a sticker…a reward for a job well done. This game is great for hand eye coordination building skills.
Aren’t they so cute? The chickens are hatched in different locations each time as Mrs Happy Chicken hops around the screen. Children just need to touch the baby chick and drag their finger to the coop.
The maze game has children pour chicken feed along the correct path and the chicken follows behind eating the feed to find its way through the maze. Mazes range from very easy to a little more difficult. Perfect for a range of ages and skills sets.

Ha, ha! I remember the Happy Mrs. Chicken episode. Love that it is now an app. My kids would flip for this one. I should download it and then pull it out in a real emergency!
