Disney Princess Castles & The Royal Ball App #DisneyPrincessWMT

Mattel Cinderella MagiClips Castle

Em & I went shopping for Disney Princess Castles the other day. It was so much fun to be back in the toy aisles. I was specifically looking for a Mattel Cinderella MagiClips Castle and the Fisher Price Little People Princess Palace.

The MagiClips castle is perfect for ages 3+. The castle comes with Cinderella and a couple dresses plus furniture to decorate the castle. It looks like a lot of fun. Additional dresses and princesses are available to purchase to add to the collection.

Fisher Price Little People Castle

I have always been a fan of the Fisher Price LIttle People and I love that they have a Disney Princess line available. In addition to the castle you can buy additional sets of prince and princesses. We had to bring home Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs as well. They were just too cute to leave at the store.

I’ll just be honest here and say the Little People castle and dolls area as much for Em & I as they are for my niece. I know she’s still too young to play with it, but I think she’ll still like the sounds and color and sitting with us while we tell her fairy tales and create our own stories. I figure its never too early to start their creative learning.

royal app

Speaking of being creative did you know that there is a Disney Royal Ball app? I know, there’s an app for everything, but I didn’t even think to look for a Royal Ball app. So much fun. Just download the app to your smart phone and you can attend the Royal Ball with your favorite characters. Pick dresses and shoes, design the royal carriage and more.

In addition, when you shop for Disney items at Walmart you can scan QR codes that unlock more games and content. Just look for specially marked displays at your local Walmart store. Sadly, my store no longer had the displays available, but check you local Walmart for them. You might just be able to unlock additional fun and games.

The app is interactive. You can take a photo of your child so she can see what she looks like in a ball gown and then she can move the smartphone around as she dances at the Royal Ball. That last part is pretty cool. As you move the phone left, right, up and down you can see different parts of the ball room. As in all things Disney they didn’t miss a trick on this app.

I have some  creative ideas on how to wrap these castles for gift giving. Be sure the check back in a couple days to see how I step it up from just plain paper to something more pretty and fun that is easy enough for anyone to do.

You can learn more about Disney play items here: Play-n-Explore site, Walmart Disney Page, and twitter.

Darnit…I looked all over for that Little People castle and couldn’t find it! I want the Snow White because my BFF says it looks like me. I’m choosing to take that as a compliment even though I’m not sure it is…
