I decided to pick up a Baskin Robbins Holiday Ice Cream Cake to help celebrate the holidays. I saw advertisements for the cakes and they looked adorable so I ordered one to take to my parents for our holiday celebration. It’s 4 days of family fun and kicking it off with an ice cream cake sounded perfect. No matter how old you are you never outgrow ice cream and cake. My kids, now 20 & 16, were thrilled to hear I ordered an ice cream cake. Alan, who is addicted to sweet treats, was looking forward to it as well.

I ordered the cake so that it would be customized to flavors that everyone in our family would enjoy which meant vanilla cake and snickers ice cream….yum! Here is our cake from our local Baskin-Robbins store:

 

The kitchen was full of eager teens and adults as I cut the cake open for us to see all the yummy goodness inside.

I cut the cake into individual servings and plated it up on our favorite holiday dinner ware (lol, paper plates). I had to twist some arms to get volunteers for a photo so here are just a few family members enjoying the cake. Some of us were thrilled to end our day with ice cream cake after spending all day in the car. I asked the family what their favorite part of the cake was and they all agreed it was the snickers ice cream.

I wanted to have a special treat for my Dad, who is diabetic, while we were having ice cream cake. I know that Baskin Robbins offers sugar-free ice cream and that they have individual treats so I ordered a couple in a few flavors. How cute is this little guy??

Everyone was able to enjoy some ice cream and cake. More family is arriving tomorrow and I’ve saved a little for them. It’s my nieces first Christmas so I have an individual treat saved for her.
