Tea Time #FamilyTeaTime

Finding delicious beverages to enjoy with our meals can sometimes be challenging. We seldom drink soda and Em & I don’t drink milk, so that generally leaves her with water and me with water, coffee or tea. I decided to make some Lipton Tea & Honey Flavored Ice Tea to have another beverage option. I knew that Lipton Tea & Honey was  available in to go tea sticks that can just be added to a bottle of water, but I didn’t know they were available in pitcher packets as well.

The pitcher packets definitely make it easier to serve a tasty drink with meals. It’s nice having a flavorful option besides plain water to offer Em & Alan at dinnertime. I wasn’t sure Em would like the flavored tea. She isn’t a fan of plain iced tea, but she actually likes the flavored teas.

The nice things about the pitcher packets is that you just empty the packet into the pitcher and add water. That’s it. No additional ingredients are necessary. I found the packets in the tea aisle with the other Lipton teas. My store had three choice Mango Pineapple, Blackberry Pomegranate, and Lemon.  I bought the Blackberry Pomegranate and Mango Pineapple. At home I mixed up the Blackberry Pomegranate right away. It is delicious! I am keeping a pitcher made up all the time now so that we can enjoy tea anytime during the day.

This is going to be a great beverage to serve during the holidays. Easy to make and affordable plus the blackberry pomegranate is a pretty red color which will work well for my holiday parties. Pour the tea into pretty holiday glasses rimmed with colored sugar and it will be even more festive!
