We spent the day cooking up a big Thanksgiving meal at my parents house. It was hours of planning, prepping and cooking and by the time we sat down to eat were pretty tired. After dinner, instead of cleaning up, we watched Men In Black 3 that I streamed to XBox via the Vudu.com app. We were able to watch it before it’s release because I purchased an advanced copy of the DVD.

I’m always a little hesitant to try new technology and wondered if I’d be able to easily figure out how to get the movie on the Xbox via Vudu.com, but it was really quite easy (of course it helped that my son was here to navigate the Xbox). He just downloaded the app, signed in to my Vudu account and watched the movie. Easy, peasy.
The family was all together for the movie viewing, all 11 of us. Although a couple of people may have dropped off into a tryptophan coma for a bit, but the rest of us really enjoyed the movie. Instead of popcorn we broke out apple and pumpkin pie.

I love the third installment in this series. Griffin has some of the best quotes during the movie and the scene at the end with J and K in the diner eating pie always makes me tear up a bit. I love the twist of this movie and I’m so glad I was able to share this movie with my family on Thanksgiving.

We do a lot of streaming via our xbox and PS3. Never tried Vudu. My son watched MIB3 this summer and LOVED it! We have been eagerly waiting. Nice to know about the presale and viewing through vudu. Thanks for sharing.
We had a great Thanksgiving with family (at my folks’ house). No leftovers though except the one extra piece of chocolate chip pecan pie that I left behind for my dad. He specifically requested I bring some along so I did and was surprised to even find a piece left! We used our Xbox to stream MIB3 also and found it extremely easy. I loved that we could pause and scrub back to specific spots. I wasn’t sure we would be able to do that streaming.
