Holiday Planning

It’s that time of year. Time to start planning holiday parties, decorations, meals, cards, and presents. I love it. I enjoy every part of the holidays, except the crowded stores, but that is usually taken care of with online shopping.

I have been pinning holiday ideas all year long and now it’s time to start finalizing exactly what I need to do. I love curling up on the couch with my computer, pen and paper, and a nice cup of hot tea and writing out my holiday plan.

Speaking of tea, I’ve recently stumbled upon a coffee, tea, and hot cocoa site that offers delicious option from the UK. Whittard.com has a plethora of items for the coffee/tea lover and I recently found myself browsing their site for a very long time.  Just an FYI that they have a gorgeous selection of Christmas gifts. I’m starting a pinboard of things I want for Christmas and quite of few items from Whittard are being pinned. Browsing the site brought back great memories of trips to England. Makes me want to go back….

Anywho, I digress, back to the holidays. I’m very good at making plans for them, but not so great at the follow through. I want to make a few Christmas gifts this year and actually decorate the house instead of just talking about decorating the house. Seems like the time just flies by and before I know it Christmas is here and nothing has been decorated, Christmas cards haven’t been sent and I have no idea what I’m making for dinner. This year I need a solid plan on making it happen which probably requires me staying home and not traveling as much (ha ha).

I’m giving myself a month deadline. I want everything done by December 15th. Decorations, cards written and sent, gifts wrapped and under the tree and menus planned and food bought….everything prepared and ready to enjoy.

Whew, that a lot to do in the next 30 days. I think I might need more tea….

Happy Holidays,
