National Vodka Day

Today is National Vodka Day. I never knew such a day existed, but now that I know you can be sure that I will be celebrating this day for years to come. Vodka is my liquor of choice and now there is a day dedicated to it…..yay!

I recently tried Crystal Head Vodka and Cupcake Vodka and thoroughly enjoyed them. Here are some recipes for you to try using these tasty vodkas. By the way, the Crystal Head Vodka wins the award for best shaped vodka bottle.

THE RED HEAD

1 1/2 oz. of Crystal Head Vodka
1/2 oz of Pama Liqueur
Pomegranate slice

SKULLED CIDER

1 1/2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
1/2 oz. vanilla liqueur
1 oz. apple cider
dash of angostura bitters
Ginger Ale

PRETTY IN PINK

1.5 oz Cupcake Deliciously Unflavored (Original) Vodka
3 oz Pink Grapefruit Juice
0.5 oz Lemon/Lime Soda
Grapefruit Slice

CHEETAH PRINT

1 oz Cupcake Frosting Vodka
1 Splash of Citrus Liqueur
1 oz Lemon/Lime Soda
1 oz Orange Soda
1 Splash Orange Juice
Combine ingredients and pour over ice into a highball glass.

Enjoy!!
