Using Serve & A $250 Giveaway

Serve is a prepaid card and is managed by American Express so you get the service and security you expect wrapped in a card that can be used anywhere that American Express is accepted. In addition to being managed by American Express there are no monthly fees, annual fees or credit checks.

I gave serve a trial run this past week while on a road trip. I put food and shopping money on the card to use while on vacation and it was perfect for controlling expenses and knowing exactly what I was spending. When I use my bank debit card I’m not very good at tracking my travel expenses. Using the Serve card ensured that I wouldn’t over spend because there was a set amount of money on the card. The card was easy to use, absolutely no different than using any other debit or credit card.

As long as American Express was accepted at my gas or shopping location I was able to use my card. There was only one very small store that did not accept the American Express card. I loved that it was so convenient to use. In addition to using the actual card for expenses the Serve account can be used to send and receive money from other Serve account holders. There is also a Serve smart phone app that makes sending and receiving money easy from anywhere in the world. <<<—-love!

I don’t see anything about the add $25, get $25 at Serve right now, but I signed up and look forward to using the card. I will make it my clothes shopping card and it will be a great help to keep me from over-spending! The facebook app is very cool – going to make it easy for the far-away grandparents to send money or donate to the grandkids’ activities.

Hi! I just entered this giveaway. I created an account and clicked on the ‘verify email’ link…it took me to my account but it said I had to verify my email…duh, thats what I thought I just did? So I clicked to resend the verification email…once it arrived I clicked on the Verify link again…and my account is still saying that I have to verify my email. What’s going wrong here? I’ll try to figure it out, but I hope this weird problem doesn’t exclude me from the giveaway!
