Headlight Restoration For Safe Travel & A Giveaway

This post brought to you by Pep Boys. All opinions are 100% mine.

I usually leave car care up to Alan or a local mechanic, however, when asked if I wanted to give the 3M headlight restoration kit a try I thought why not.

My van has pretty good headlights, but Alan’s truck headlights need serious help. The days are growing shorter and Alan is leaving for work when its still dark outside. Staying safe on the road is so important. Living in the north makes it even more so. You need to be able to watch for wildlife, mainly deer, dashing out into the roadway.

The headlight restoration kit is available at Pep Boys stores across the country. In addition to the kit they have everything you need to keep your car in tip top condition. For me, that means windshield wiper fluid, wipers, oil, and antifreeze AND knowledgeable employees that can answer my questions.

I restored the headlights on the truck tonight. The kit doesn’t require any addition tools. Just some elbow grease, water and paper towels and you are good to go. This is whats included in the kit:

Here is the truck’s headlights prior to using the kit:

Using the kit was SO easy and only took about 30 minutes to refurbish two of the headlights. I just followed the step-by-step instructions and sanded away on the headlights. Alan even wanted to give it a try:

Here is the end results:

Amazing, right?? I can’t wait to see the difference when we’re driving!

Chicken Mole Empanadas

I’ve been cooking with Dove Dark Chocolate recently and it’s been so yummy! My friend Sara came over and helped me put these Empanadas together. These take a bit of time, but they are well worth the effort. Chicken Mole Empanadas Dough: ● 2 1⁄2 cups all purpose flour ● 3⁄4 cup yellow cornmeal ● …Read More

Spa Day & Menopause Chat

Getting older has it’s benefits, but, if you are a girl, there is also a bit of a downside as well. I’m going to be 43 soon and I’m kinda starting to dread the M word. You know the one, right?? Menopause, yeah, THAT M word. I thought I would take my Mom and Em …Read More

Failing At Overcoming A Fear Is So Frustrating #lifehappens
