Mornings are probably my favorite part of the day. There is about a 2 hour gap, between Alan leaving for work and Emma getting up that I am not responsible for anyone except me. 

I’m usually working from home during this time, but sometimes I slip on my shoes, grab a jacket, and just sit on the deck and enjoy my coffee. I often take a notebook and travel brochures with me so I can work on plans for my next adventure or just outline travel post to write later.

Mornings are quiet so here, just me, my coffee, and the birds. I should really start doing this every morning because I always feel completely refreshed after spending 30 minutes of “me” time.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t have just plain black coffee. I like my coffee with a little flavoring. Today I used International Delight Fat Free French Vanilla creamer. I take a lot of grief from friends for always choosing “boring” flavors, but vanilla is my absolute favorite flavor for just about anything (coffee creamer, ice cream, pudding, etc). The International Delight french vanilla creamer is very tasty in my coffee. 

For those of you who might enjoy a different flavor besides French Vanilla, International Delight has many options available for you. These usually come in both pint and quart sizes. If you like variety I recommend getting a couple different flavors in the pints and having a little taste test at home.

Next time I have to buy creamer I might live on the edge a little bit and give the Caramel Macchiato or White Chocolate Mocha a try. They sound really tasty. Be sure to stop over at the International Delight site to print a coupon for 55cents off.
