I love being outdoors during the summer. Our winters are so long that by the time summer rolls around we are just itching to be outside all the time. This often means picnics with family and friends or just dining on the deck.  It also means having adult beverages with our meal.

Michelob just started selling ULTRA Light Cider in stores and I was fortunate enough to be sent a few samples to try. It is light and refreshing and has a nice apple flavor. The best part is 1/3 fewer calories than other leading regular hard ciders. My hips and waistline appreciate the reduced calories in this drink.

I can easily see pairing this with simple appetizers like fruit, cheese & sausage for a girlfriend get together or bringing it along for a picnic lunch. I would also pour a the cider into a plastic container to take with me when I go kayaking. There is nothing better on a hot summer day than floating down a tranquil slow moving river enjoying an adult beverage…that right there, my friends, is a little slice of heaven.

I have always wanted one of the tables in a bag. Between camping and picnics I am always looking for a small table to use and this is perfect since it rolls up so nice for easy transport.     I’d use this so many places. Most often used place would be the sand island near my house. We pack up everything we need, hop in the boat and spend the day out there.
