I recently received 2 DACRON® Memorelle™ Fiberfill pillows to review. The Memorelle™ fiberfill is similar to memory foam, but better, imo, since the Memorelle™ filling adjust better to my sleeping positions. I tend to move around a bit at night so its nice to find a pillow that adjusts easily.

I’ve never had much luck with memory foam pillows so I was eager to give these Memorelle™ fill pillows a try. Its a noticeable difference between the memory foam and the Memorelle™. I really like how this pillow supports my head and my neck.

I was just reading an article about getting a good nights sleep. It stated that “Good support is essential to quality sleep. If you’re not lying on a pillow that effectively cradles your head and neck, you’re creating unnecessary muscle tension, which can leave you feeling more drained when you wake up.”(All You, March 30, 2012, page 57) That might explain why I always wake up so tired. To see if you have a good supportive pillow they suggest laying the pillow over your extended arm.

Looks like my pillow was WAY past its prime. I tended to fold it in half at night to try to get some good support (lol). Now that I have the DACRON® pillow I’ve had to adjust to sleeping on a really supportive pillow. The first couple nights it felt weird to have so much support, but I have noticed that I’m sleeping better. Using my old pillow I would wake up tired around 5:30 a.m. or 6:00 a.m.. Since I’ve started using the DACRON® I’ve been sleeping until at least 7 a.m. and wake feeling like I had a good nights sleep.

I didn’t realize a pillow could make that much of a difference, but I’ve certainly noticed one.

A nice housekeeping benefit of these pillows is that you can just toss them in the washer and dryer. Love that they are easy to take care of.

DACRON® Memorelle™ Fiberfill pillows will be available at stores this Spring. I’ll be buying a few more for the guest room and for Em. Give your pillows the extended arm test and see if its time for a new one.
