Cirque du Soleil La Nouba Orlando

Em & I seen Cirque du Soleil: Quidam in Philadelphia back in October and fell in love. We loved the acrobatics and the interaction with the audience and decided that if we ever had a chance to see a Cirque show again that we would.

Our opportunity came when we planned to visit Disney. We found out that Cirque du Soleil La Nouba was being performed in Orlando. The Cirque theater located in Downtown Disney is in a medium size theater which means there isn’t a bad seat in the house. We sat center stage about halfway back and had a fantastic view. The night we attended there was a full house.

Prior to the show start there are a couple clowns wandering around the aisle entertaining people until its showtime. They were fun to watch and it was a nice distraction until the start of the show.

One of our favorite performances was of the little girls with the chinese yo-yo’s. They are so talented and really fascinating to watch. They perform rolls and flips all while keeping their yo-yo’s moving.

The signature act of Cirque, in my opinion, is the aerial silk ballet. Watching the acrobats wrap themselves up in red silk and twist, turn, and fly over the audience is something you probably won’t see anywhere else.

If you are planning on seeing Cirque du Soleil during high season make sure you give yourself plenty of travel time as the area around and at Downtown Disney can be very congested with traffic.

Ticket prices start at $73 for adults and $58 for children (3-9)

Disclaimer: I received two media passes in exchange for my honest review of Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba.
