I done it. I took a leap of faith and bought my ticket to Bloggers Gone Coastal Brandcation event in Pensecola, FL the first weekend in May. I have wanted to attend a Brandcation event ever since I first heard about it a couple years ago. It finally worked out that the event was on a weekend that I could attend. The downside is that I don’t really have money set aside for another blogging event this year, but I really think this is a phenomenal opportunity to learn and grow as a blogger. So, I’m going to BELIEVE that it will all work out.

I bought my ticket as soon as they went on sale and asked Collective Bias for a small sponsorship to cover my hotel room. They graciously said yes (THANK YOU) so now I just have to find a sponsor for travel expenses (interested?, see below). Trusting in my goals and in myself is sometimes a hard thing to do, but things seem to be working out.

What is Bloggers Gone Coastal Brandcation event?

Here’s the quick version.

-Get together with 30 other influential & professional bloggers
-Explore all that Pensecola has to offer (see below for more on that)
-Learn about a variety of brands so I can share them with you
-No classes, just learning from one another in a relaxed setting
-Stay at the Portofino Resort (much nicer than the budget digs Em & I usually stay at on road trips..lol)

Pensecola events include:

*Blogger Olympics on the beach
*Dinner on the boardwalk
*Zipling and tubing with Adventures Unlimited (I’ll be skipping the Ziplining, but I’ll be sure to share the excitement of the other bloggers with you.)
*Murder Mystery dinner
*Dolphin Cruise

It will be a great time of learning and fun with other bloggers. I really am looking forward to the event, especially the Dolphin Cruise!
