The older I get the more strongly Europe calls to me. I’m not sure why, but there is an invisible pull encouraging me to hop on a plane and take a jaunt across the pond and explore all that Europe has to offer.
Italy, of course, is at the top of my list. The desire to visit is strong. I almost feel like an addict begging for a hit. In my case, a hit consists of an airline ticket, passport and the $$$ to hit the road.

In addition to Italy, I want to visit the Bordeaux region of France, the southern coast of Spain, my ancestors home in Germany, Greece, and the Plitvice Lakes area of Croatia. Impossible?? I don’t think so. Good planning, hard work, and patience is all I need to make it a reality.

I’m writing it down (which, I swear makes things happen) and letting the universe know that I am open and willing to head to Europe anytime. Doors will open and I’ll be sipping wine from a Tuscany field in the near future. {hope that’s not too over the top “new age” for you my dear readers…changes in life have led me to believe that all you really need is a bit of faith}

Is there a place that calls to you? A place that you long to visit? Where do you want to travel??
Cheers,

Deb Darling, the white village you posted – I used to live in one of those for 5 years with my now husband! Cinque Terra is wonderful. Its stunning and there is an easy hiking trail which connects all of those 5 (cinque) villages.
Deb, I miss my Munich very much so. If however asked where I would travel here, I would chose South Dakota, Wyoming, Minnesota, Washington State, Colorado,Nevada to start of with. Riding the route 66 is another wish plus walking the Applachian trail from Georgia all way up North! Spending time in Alaska and experience the Indian Summer on horseback. Canoeing down the Blue Calosa waterway from Fort Myers Florida till Key West! The Outer Banks in NC.
Yeah that will do for the first year!
Love, Paula
I would love to visit Ireland. I have relatives over there. I was supposed to go years ago and then got distracted with life.
Those all look like fantastic places to visit!
p.s. Don’t know why, but I haven’t been updated with google reader in ages. I can’t believe how much I’ve missed!
Europe is indeed stunning. But, air travel has gotten to be SUCH A PAIN, I have ZERO desire anymore. Tuscanny-WOW, but no. I’m also tired of the language barriers.
I do want to continue with the long road trips though. Who doesn’t love the open road!
I want to go to Tuscany so bad. Take me with.
Dear Deb,
I am inspired by you
I have a wanderlust spirit myself. I look forward to seeing YOUR photos of your fabulous journey. Happy trails!
