I have used Scotch Brite sponges for forever to wash dishes. I seen that they had new recycled “greener” sponges out that I wanted to try. I headed up to Walmart to see if I could find some. This is the selection of sponges at the store:
I found the sponges I was looking for at the far right end with the competitors brand. I think they were hiding down there. There were only 3 packages left. I tossed a package in my cart and went in search of dinner items and ice cream and then headed home. Easy peasy shopping Walmart tonight.
Here’s what the package looks like:
Lots of little fibers running through the sponge. They felt the same as any of the other Scotch Brite sponges I have used.
Alan used the sponge tonight while doing dishes and he said they worked just as well as the other sponges. I think the recycled “greener” sponge will be our new sponge of choice because it uses recycled materials.
What do you use to wash dishes?

I use microfiber cloths–from the auto section at Meijer. They work great and at $9 for a dozen, it’s cheap and I can grab a fresh cloth every time. They wash up beautifully and last a couple years. I do use the scrubby sponges for pans though.
LOL- “greener clean” and that even before your review!
Have a wonderful weekend
