Adorable #DogCollarCharms

I recently found a site that allows you to upload a favorite photo and have it made into a dog collar charm. I really liked the idea of having a family photo printed and made into a charm for BB.

The site, DogCollarCharms.com, is really easy to use. Just upload the photo, then choose a border color and checkout.

All the dog charms are printed in a sepia tone so you will want to make sure that your image has good details so the photo looks crisp on the charm. Because I think they are such a great idea I ordered a couple extras to hand out. I choose images that represent northern Michigan; one of Lake Michigan and one of a cherry orchard. How cute is this packaging. I love the little details on the card. (Off topic: Great packaging is my favorite component for marketing—I am definately swayed by pacaking…are you???)

My personalized dog charms arrived within a few days of ordering. The shipping was very quick and FREE! They also have wonderful customer service. We exchanged a few emails and they were always very prompt and courteous, which I really appreciate.

BB, of course, had to check out his new charm before he would let us put it on him.

Attaching the charm is easy. The charm is made from durable materials and I don’t have any concerns about it chipping, breaking or falling off the attaching ring.

BB looks to proud with his new charm on his dog collar.

An upclose look at the charm. (that is our family photo from a couple years ago)

I wrote up a “this moment” story if you are interested in reading more.

As far as I’m concerned this is a perfect and unique gift for all the furry friends in your life.

What do you think of BB’s new charm? Would you buy a charm for your dog?

I like making this sandwich on lazy Sunday afternoons when we want a filling, but easy to make lunch. I’m not a fan of sauerkraut so I use cole slaw instead. I usually buy whatever bread looks the yummiest from the bakery. This round I used Italian bread (don’t tell, but I don’t like rye …Read More

Kitchen Carts Instead of a Kitchen Remodel

I really want to remodel and makeover my incredibly small 1970′s corridor kitchen. We bought our house about 16 years ago and the only thing we changed in the kitchen was the ugly counter tops and that was about 8 years ago. I really want to gut the whole kitchen and start over, but I …Read More

3 Outfits-1 Shirt | Talbots

I stopped in at Talbots the other day to shop for a new shirt. Our store is fairly small and its hit or miss if I’ll find anything (that fits), but thought I would take a chance. I tried on 3 shirts and found one I really liked. The challenge was to them figure out …Read More
