I stopped in at Talbots the other day to shop for a new shirt. Our store is fairly small and its hit or miss if I’ll find anything (that fits), but thought I would take a chance. I tried on 3 shirts and found one I really liked. The challenge was to them figure out how many outfits I could create around this one shirt.
Here is what I came up with:
1st Outfit: Perfect for the office or a dressy event:
This necklace was longer than I liked for this shirt so I knotted them for a unique look.
2nd Outfit: Excellent choice for a casual Friday outfit or a wine tasting tour
I wanted to keep the accessories simple so that the notice is on the adorable trim.
3rd Outfit: Perfect for visiting the farmers market or lunch with the girls.
My girlfriend, Nancy, and I had a girls crafting weekend a couple months ago and we made these great necklaces. It works perfect for this shirt.
While I was shopping at Talbots I seen this ensemble and fell completely in love. Sadly, it was entirely outside of my budget
However, I may go back in a month or so and see if it’s been marked down.
I also fell in love with a flirty and fun bracelet that you can see here.
So, what do you think of the three outfits?? Do you use accessories to make many outfits from one piece?
disclaimer: this has been a compensated shopper insight study for Collective Bias. all thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
Cheers,

I think the three outfits look great. That shirt could go with so much stuff! Khakis … love the possibilities.
I'm an accessory guru and I definitely use signature accessories to make many outfits.
