#MurphyUSA Easter Basket Goodies

Instead of battling the insane holiday crowds at the store I shopped for Easter basket goodies at MurphyUSA. I was fueling up my tank and figured I’d see what goodies MurphyUSA might have.

(((Btw, gas is $4.16/gal here right now—painful)))

There were all kinds of choices for the kids baskets. I was surprised since our Murphy station is so small. The kids prefer salty over sweet and there was a good mix of salty and sweet at the store.

Slim Jims and chips will take care of the salty.

They also like Vitamin water so I’ll add a couple of those to their baskets.

Altoid tins…perfect! The kids like to alter the tins into projects.

Gum is always a great choice and it’s on sale :)

A bit of chocolate to finish off their baskets.

A bit of junk food and some cash and the kids are thrilled with their baskets. I forgot to take a photo of their baskets before they tore into them, but they really loved them!

What did you put in your children’s Easter baskets?

That just cracks me up! My kids got traditional hollow chocolate bunnies and hershey bunnies, but I might try your idea next year! :-)
I have an award for you on my blog!! Please stop by sometime and check it out. :-)

$4.16? We just paid $3.73 in Dubuque. I guess I never thought THAT would be a bargain! See? I save money going for pie!! LOL!!

I wish we only paid 4.16 here. We're at around 4.50 right now. Absolutely insane. I'm guessing we'll near or go over 5 bucks as Memorial Day approaches.

I put flash cards (of shapes/colors), terry cloth bunnies, Dora the Explorer Dvd and stickers in my daughter's basket (she's two)
