A story of love lost…and found.
Mia Wells’s eco-friendly career goals are about to become a reality-but her life-altering moment is interrupted when an unexpected call ushers in her tremulous past. A man who’s never left Mia’s memory: Flynn, the enigmatic, passionate man whose disappearance broke her heart, has mysteriously resurfaced.
Now back in her life and in the hospital, Flynn is gravely injured. Mia keeps a bedside vigil-terrified that he will die, awestruck at the prospect of his survival. In a story filled with sweetness and suspense, Mia’s what-ifs are endless. And Flynn’s return ignites an achingly powerful tale about the most enduring love, one that is greater than honor, or friendship, or the passing of time.

MY THOUGHTS:
Sigh…yet another book that I had a hard time getting through. I really wanted to like this book, I really, really did. The synopsis of the story is one that I relate closely to. However, it ended up reading more like this:
Girl meets Boy
Girl falls in love with Boy
Boy leaves, breaks Girl’s heart
Girl meets and marries another Boy
Years later Boy 1 returns to proclaim his never ending love for Girl
Girl 1 leaves Boy 2 and lives happily ever after with Boy 1
Head Thunk! I know the description says that the book is “filled with sweetness and suspense”, but I didn’t really read any of that. It was mostly filled with girl drama and bad choices.
MY RATING: 2/5
OFF TOPIC (KINDA): Did you season the first episode of American Idol Season 10. The new judges were there with Jennifer Lopez filling the female spot. All night long Jennifer had a horrible time telling the wanna-be’s that they were a no. I mean, she really struggled. Maybe she was just acting, but she looked like she was in pain when she sent them away with their dreams crushed. Anywho, I kinda feel like that. I HATE giving a bad review. I really, really hate it. However, I feel a responsibility to you, my reader, to share my HONEST opinion without regards to the author’s feelings. Do I like giving a 1 or a 2 rating, do I like saying that I couldn’t finish a book…no, I don’t, but it’s the god’s honest truth from my point of view and that is what I am here to share.
Cheers,
