The Perfect Shoes

Shopping is probably one of my least favorite activities. Clothes shopping rates even lower. I really hate how manufacturers size everything different. I can take two of the same size jeans into the fitting room by two different manufacturers and they will fit completely different. Drives. Me. Nuts. However, shoes never let me down. It’s refreshing to know that they will always fit. I think thats one of the reasons why I love them and finding great shoes that feel like heaven on my feet is another. A couple months ago I was looking for some new shoes that would be comfy to stand in all day. As a wedding photographer I need comfort, yet style, on my feet. I can not do high heels. I think they are cute, sexy, and stylish, but they kill my back. An hour in high heels and I’m begging for death–lol.  I needed flat soled shoes that would allow me to run around all day. One of the first places I looked for shoes was Zappos.com. They have a huge selection of shoes to choose from. I knew I wanted a pair of Born or other high end shoe. Well, I consider them high end because, as a rule, even though I love shoes, I hate spending lots of money on them. Their selection is awesome and there are many to choose from.

After some serious debate I ended up with these:

They are like walking on air. I absolutely love them. My feet are comfy all day long, the leather is soft, like butter against my skin, and they are cute and comfortable enough to wear to weddings.

    Hi Deb!
I've used Zappos before-their service is great! But, I don't think you can wear these snowmobiling—-you need something warmer!
    :D

Love those shoes. Never used Zappos because I love trying them on and shopping … but maybe I'll try …

Shoes are a girl's best friend. I am with you on the clothes thingy. Ugh. Shoes always fit. And you can't have too many.
