If I could keep you little,
I’d decide on matching clothes.
But then I’d miss you choosing
dots on top and stripes below

If I could keep you little
I’d cut your bread in shapes.
But then I’d miss you finding
“Hey! I like ketchup with my grapes!”

Funny you posted this because I was writing a blog today about how I feel about M.E. growing up. She'll be 5 on the 15th and I'm sad about her not being a "baby" anymore but I am so proud of who she is and so excited to watch her "find" herself!

I'd give the book to her for sure!

Sounds like a book I would love. I would give it to my children who are 11 and almost 9. I get little reminders everyday about how they are growing up. It goes by too fast.

That sounds so sweet and the poem is precious. I should give that to my daughter at graduation. It is perfect!

Okay, so I made the comment before reading how to enter, so I would give the book to my daughter for sure. I might even glue pictures of her in the book too. It would be a sentimental gift.

I would love to give this to my sweet girl, Emerson. She is 6 and I often ask her if she would just stop growing so I can treasure this time with her a little longer (she always says no). :)
