Oh, the things you find when you surf twitter. While I was browsing the twittersphere I came across this tweet from Adam Baker from Man v. Debt:
“How to Draw Camels (free download via @philinthe_) –> http://bit.ly/esT0AV”
Well…how can I NOT click on that. I can’t draw a straight line, but drawing camels sounded intriguing so I clicked, which took me to Phil In The Blank
Sure enough, Phil showed me how to draw a camel. Not that my rendition is going to win any awards, but here it is:
Ok…You can stop laughing now! Geesh….put myself out there and that’s what I get
Well, the reason I made an attempt, beside pure curiosity to see if I could draw a camel or not, is because Phil is giving a $1 to charity for each camel drawing he receives (up to $50). So, I’m just doing my part to help out those in need. It is the season of giving after all.
Head on over to Phil’s site and follow his steps to draw a camel. Honestly, after a few false starts I had my camel drawn in a couple minutes (oh, for pete’s sake, I just think I heard a collective “and it shows” shout out from the blogsphere–cut me a break…I’m a photographer not an artist–lol)
If you send a drawing to Phil be sure to CC me on it. I want to see how well you done. This would make a great snow day activity!
Btw, Adam @ManvDebt is always sharing great info…be sure to follow him of twitter for the latest and greatest.
Happy Holidays,

Love the camel! You rock! Would be adorable as a greeting card. Kind of reminds me of myself. LMAO.
You're an artist!! Wonderful-you made me smile!
Now, get outside and enjoy that wonderful white stuff! Did you get much?? We got about 14" total-yea!!!!!!!!!! I thought of you yesterday while I was out on the snowmobile–I said EVEN DEB would be enjoying THIS!!!!!!
I have to share this with my daughter. You drew a very cool camel!
I posted it to my facebook page! LOL I rather "dolled" mine up a bit.
