I recently posted about being able to buy a $25 Kiva.org loan for only $15 through Groupon.com

I finally got around to checking out the Kiva site to decide where to give my money. Because I believe that so many women around the world live impoverished lives I always search for women owned businesses.  I choose to focus on women in agriculture for this loan.  There are so many people asking for help and most just need a loan of $100 to improve their lives.

My $25 is going to Julieta Mabanag in the Philippines. After my loan she only needs $25 more dollars in order to completely fund her loan.  You can do this for only $15 by purchasing through Groupon. That’s only the cost of a couple cups of coffee at Starbucks.

For every person that makes their first groupon purchase through my groupon link I receive $10…I will, in turn, use this money to fund more Kiva loans. Its a win-win-win situation   I love knowing that such a small amount on my part can make a difference in someone else’s life.
