I’m feeling a little melancholy today. Fall is in full swing and I know it’s just a matter of a couple weeks before winter descends upon us here in the north. I love fall and all her gorgeous colors. However, I know that the snow will soon fall, the temperatures will drop, and I’ll be hibernating until spring.
I thought I would put together a reminder of all the wonderful things I love. When I am lost deep in the dark winter I can look back here and remind myself that after the darkness there is always light and after the winter there is always the spring.

My favorites-the smell of the earth after a rain, the crunch of leaves underfoot, and the incredible silence of the woods during a mid winter ski(yes—ANOTHER great thing about winter!!!)

I love your list!!! I have a whole list of stuff on my blog, but I'll tell you what I love…..cool air and warm sunshine, Alabama football (Roll Tide), toe socks, winter time….just to name VERY few!
