Photo courtesey of http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/station/index.htmlLast night Em & I watched the International Space Station pass over. This was our first time watching it and it was AWESOME!!! (Yes, we are kinda geeky at our house and get a kick out of this stuff). We jumped around and waved and sent everyone aboard some love and peace. Btw, if you never danced or just acted goofy under a full moon you are seriously missing out
Did you know there is a NASA tv station you can watch on the internet??? It shows the astronuats in action and is pretty damn cool. I think kids especially would love this. Check it out here.
Check here to see when the space station will pass over your house.
Have you seen the space station???

That is very cool! My family and I just went to the Kennedy Space Centre a few weeks ago and it was the highlight of our trip. My children now have aspirations to become astronauts. I have already discovered the tv station and I am battling with my children over the internet as I need to get work done. Have fun watching it again!
In the summer the local astronomy clue has a big get-together in the mountains west of us-about 30 minutes away–where they set up all kinds of telescopes and let anyone who is there look at all sorts of cool stuff. One year when we were up there to check it out the space station passed over. About 100 people were there and everyone clapped and cheered when it passed. We love trying to make it up for Weekend Under the Stars.
I'll bet my boys would enjoy that NASA station. I know we enjoyed watching the Hubble live. Thanks!
So very cool and what a special moment with your kiddos! Woot, woot! Momma Fargo
