I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted something. Holy bells…where does the time go???? Anywho, we are back from the beautiful state of Rhode Island. We had a wonderful time, but its good to be home.
This week we have been able to start picking goodies from the garden. Our first harvest is pictured here. Since then we have picked more tomatoes and tonight I picked 5 green peppers. YEAH!!! After a couple years of gardening failures this feels like a huge success. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing that you grew your own food….I love it!
Blueberries are in season here in northern Michigan as well so I need to get to a blueberry patch asap and pick some. It seems like berry seasons are very brief here and I often miss them
Hopefully I’m not too late for blueberries and raspberries. My freezer needs to be restocked.
Hmmm..what else has been going on. Working the 7-3, working the photog business, and doing all the daily chores around the house pretty much keeps me going from sun up to sun down. I was able to catch up on some reading recently so I’ll be sharing some reviews in the near future.
I’m really looking forward to the movie release of Eat, Pray, Love. (It will be in theaters August 13) The book is one of my favorites EVER and I often dream of having my own Eat, Pray, Love year. I know for certain I would go to Italy, but I haven’t decided on the other two countries yet. I’m taking Kleenex to the movie. I cried through a lot of the book, I’ll probably be a big baby and cry through a lot of the movie. Hell, I tear up watching the trailer. Yes, the book had that kind of impact on me or maybe it’s just the pms acting up today. Have you read the book??? Will you see the movie???
Cheers,

Yep, I wanna see the movie because I love Julia Roberts, but I heard the book is a slow read?! Glad the trip was good and those veggies look DELICIOUS! and blueberries too? YUM!
