Watched the Blue Angels yesterday! It was such a beautiful day. Perfect blue sky, nice breeze off the bay. Although I will say that I think the Cherry Festival had record breaking numbers at the event. I could not believe how many people were there. We arrived about 2 hours prior to the show and had to park about 7 blocks away. Every available inch of sand had someone sitting or standing on it, plus there were 100′s of boats in the water (which I’m thinking is the way to go).

I am in complete awe of these pilots. It is amazing the maneuvers they can complete without crashing. It was such an incredible experience watching them. If you ever get the chance to see them perform I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you take small children make sure you take hearing protection for them….the jets are very loud. I, personally, love the noise, but it could be damaging to small ears.

Sorry for the lack of photos. Sometimes taking my camera is more of a hassle than I want to deal with. However, my father in law went with us and took some photos. When he sends me some copies I’ll share with you. Until then I found this great video taken from inside the cockpit. Enjoy!
