Well, I just heard back about the position in NC and they extended the offer to someone else. I’m completely o.k. with that. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason–I may not understand why, but that’s just life. They did say that they were waiting to hear her decision and they would let me know next week. Sounds like I’d be their second choice…um….that just feels too wierd for me so I would probably pass on it.

The good news is that I can now focus my energy on things that need to be done around here. I can finally sign a photo contract I’ve been holding onto. I didn’t want to sign it until I knew what was happening. The good news, besides having that sweet gig this summer, is that I’ll be able to visit Mass Hole Mommy while I’m out in Rhode Island. I’m pretty excited about that. I love reading her blog. If you haven’t visited her be sure to stop by. If you are in the Massachuettes/Rhode Island area and want to hook up for coffee or wine in July let me know. I’ll be in the area from July 12-24.

We started cleaning out the basement this week. Lordy, that is almost 20 years of stuff down there…it’s ugly. I’ve posted some of it on Craigs List and we are planning a big ole yard sale in May.

I’ve been thinking that I would like to start a weekly photo tip post. If you have any photo questions leave me a comment. They can be questions about how to take better photos or how to start/run a photo business. I will do my best to answer them for you. I plan on starting the weekly Photo Tip next week. It will be posted here and probably on my photography blog as well.
