Alan stumbled across a site on the web on making pop can camp stoves. Since reading about it he’s been making mini stoves like crazy. I took a few photos to share with you. The stoves heat up a couple cups of water pretty darn fast. They are lightweight and small so if you are a backpacker you may be interested in making one for yourself. (I’ll add the web address he uses later today)

Wow, this could have so many uses for people going camping in the woods and needing to heat food or water. Also, they can thrown the can at bears. So that's two uses for the can stove right there. Wicked stuff.
Rob.
This is so clever! And I love how Rob suggested it could also be used as a bear weapon. LOL.
Rob, good call on using it as a weapon–hadn't thought of that one. LOL
JennyMac, one of my favorite phrases is from the Red Green Show. The host closes every show with "and men, remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy" handy, clever interchangeable I think
Those are super cool!
That is so cool! We go camping a lot and this might come in handy for morning coffees.
I have an award for you on my blog! Come see!
