If you have a teen girl in your home you may have been up past midnight last night. Maybe waiting in a line at your local store for New Moon to go on sale at 12:01 A.M. Ugh, I tried to convince Em that we could go Saturday morning and there really would be copies available, but she wasn’t buying it. So, at 11:30 last night I drug my sorry butt up to the store. That I was even still awake at 11:30 is amazing…I’m usually in bed by 9 p.m. (ok…ok…for those of you who are laughing about me being in bed so early, please understand that I get up every morning at 5:30 a.m.)
I was amazed at the number of people already in line. If I had to take a guess, I would say there were approximately 100 in front of us.
Apparently I am not the only sleep deprived parent today.
Getting closer….
I took a photo of Em actually getting the movie, but my piece of crap point and shoot camera just doesn’t work well in low light conditions and I haven’t yet found the balls to bring my pro camera with me to these types of outings. I was already getting weird looks using my point and shoot.
Did you go out at midnight to pick up New Moon?
